Voice Alarm Systems

ASC design and manufacture Voice Alarm, Monitored PA and similar systems that meet the challenge of any specified requirement.
The systems themselves interlock into Fire Alarm or Fire and Gas panels and can either be centralised, with equipment housed in an industrial 19 inch rack, or it can be distributed in self contained sub-systems around the site.

Control and data transfer between the central rack or the master station and any external audio or control console can be by directly monitored switches or by monitored serial data links over copper or fibre optic cable

If a distributed network is employed, either simple monitored links over twisted pair copper cable can be used, or in the case of more complex requirements, DSP audio engines working over Cat 5 or fibre optic cable can be used either as standalone systems or utilising existing Ethernet networks employing voice over IP techniques.
The system configuration will be chosen to meet the complexity of the requirement, but irrespective how complex the problem is, ASC will have a solution at a competitive price.

All systems are fully monitored from audio source, through pre-amplifiers, audio matrix and power amplifiers to the loudspeaker cables by a unique software driven test program which displays the results on a local numeric display. Results and status information can also be recorded and interrogated remotely via a modem link.

We can also provide a service to specify types of loudspeakers for given environments and to offer the facility to design the loudspeaker distribution to meet BS 5839 Pt 8.
